Creating Self Sustaining Forest Gardens along with Vertical Farming Methods could help preserve lands and rain forests and also give time for other lands to recover. They will also reduce water consumption while at the same time feed more people then regular farming. No pesticides are needed and having a wet or dry season doesn't matter.
