Valid Passport will be required as of Jan. 8 for almost everyone entering the United States through airports and seaports, no matter where they are coming from. Passports will also be required for land crossings from Canada or Mexico on Jan. 1, 2007, but it's recommended taking your Passport before that time to play it safe.  Passport Photos
