Yes, Connecticut does have a Zoo. Not as impressive as the Bronze Zoo but definitely worth the trip and convenience if you live near Bridgeport Ct. What makes this place pretty cool is that some of the birds walk around freely for you to see. But don't feed them because they are on a very special diet.
This place is great for the whole family. Beardsley Zoo has a Merry-go-round, gift shop, food and plenty of information about the animals.
