Flightless Cormorant Tagus Cove, Isabela Island

The Flightless Cormorants lost their ability to fly over time because of their need to become efficient swimmers
to help them feed on the abundance of fish, thus eventually having no need for wings to fly just like their
Penguin friends who also were flying birds many years ago. Flightless Cormorants have become such
good swimmers & fishers that fisherman in Japan tie them to a stick & use them as fishing tools.
