Galapagos Hawk on Punta Suarez, Espanola / Hood Island

Endemic Galapagos Hawk, the only raptor found on the islands. Survives on locusts, giant centipedes,
small lava lizards, snakes, rodents and sometimes young hatchlings.
Near extinction with only150 mating pairs in existence today.
