Avalanche: If caught in one here are some tips to increase your odds for survival.
Find something to hold on to like a tree,  if you are in the open and you get hit by one;
create space and keep your body moving till it stops, then stay calm to conserve energy,
see if you can raise a hand to signal for help. Spit to find out what direction is up.
